Blend: 80% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo, 10% Graciano

Region: DO Rioja, Spain

Winery: The name LAN derives from the initials of the three provinces part of the DO Rioja: Logroño, Alava, Navarra.

Vineyard: Elaborated with grapes coming from old vines of Rioja

Vinification: Fermentation of de-stemmed grapes in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature between 28 – 30 ºC. Maceration for 15 days with continuous pumping over in order to achieve a good extraction of color from the cap of skins.

Ageing: In American and French oak barrels for at least 12 months, followed by 24 months in bottle.

Color: Brilliant ripe black cherry red colour with good depth.

Aroma: Fruity aromas with elegant notes of fine wood

Flavor: Smooth in the mouth, with good structure and fleshiness. Pleasant and long-lasting finish.

Food Pairing: Stews, spiced dishes, legumes and cured cheeses.
