Grapes: 100% Pinot Gris

RegionSourced from long-term growers in the Adelaide Hills, including the Moskos and Porter families.

Vintage Summary: The 2023 vintage tested winemakers’ skills and resilience with challenging seasonal conditions. Fluctuations in rainfall and a prolonged cool ripening period resulted in one of the latest harvests in living memory. Despite the difficulties, the vintage produced wines with exceptional varietal characters, pure aromatic qualities, well-structured tannins, and defined acidity. Winter rainfall provided a promising start for vine growth, but above-average rainfall later in 2022 caused concerns during berry set in some regions. The cool ripening months allowed for gradual flavor accumulation and preservation of natural acidity in white varieties.

Maturation: Cool stainless steel fermentation and bottled early to retain the varietal freshness.

Tasting Notes: A fresh, vibrant wine to be shared with friends. Nashi pear, citrus zest, and orange blossom aromas are complimented by vibrant fresh peach and citrus bursting onto the palate, medium to soft acidity integrated well to generous fruit flavours and creamy texture, with a slight hint of cashew. Pair this with panfried salmon with nam phrik num dressing
