History

ALBERT BRENOT is one of the oldest Burgundy Wine Houses.

This respectable and renowned house was founded in 1849 in Savigny-lès-Beaune a few kilometers from Beaune, by Mr. Albert BRENOT who, in addition to his activity as a winegrower and merchant, was also Foreign Trade Advisor for France.

A pioneer in the export of Burgundy wines, he was also awarded a Hon’s diploma in 1906 at the Universal Exhibition in Milan, thus rewarding his talents as a winemaker and trader focused on international trade.

ALBERT BRENOT also has long term contract with grapes growers and produces most of the Burgundy appellations : :

Chablis Area (Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Grands Crus)

Côte de Nuits (Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits Saint Georges…)

Côte de Beaune ( Pommard, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet..)
