ALBERT BRENOT is one of the oldest Burgundy Wine Houses.
This respectable and renowned house was founded in 1849 in Savigny-lès-Beaune a few kilometers from Beaune, by Mr. Albert BRENOT who, in addition to his activity as a winegrower and merchant, was also Foreign Trade Advisor for France.
A pioneer in the export of Burgundy wines, he was also awarded a Hon’s diploma in 1906 at the Universal Exhibition in Milan, thus rewarding his talents as a winemaker and trader focused on international trade.
ALBERT BRENOT also has long term contract with grapes growers and produces most of the Burgundy appellations : :
Chablis Area (Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Grands Crus)
Côte de Nuits (Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits Saint Georges…)
Côte de Beaune ( Pommard, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet..)
Côte Chalonnaise (Mercurey, Montagny Premier Cru..)
Christophe ROCHET, at the head of the family-owned Maison Albert Brenot, since 2014, is committed to maintaining the values of this respected Maison while restructuring it.
«If you want to build your future, you must know your past !»
Mâconnais ( Saint-Véran, Pouilly-Fuissé..)
ALBERT BRENOT, thanks to a long and unique history, controls the best grapes sourcing with some growers who share the same values.
