Vintage Summary: The 2023 vintage tested winemakers’ skills and resilience with challenging seasonal conditions. Fluctuations in rainfall and a prolonged cool ripening period resulted in one of the latest harvests in living memory. Despite the difficulties. the vintage produced wines with exceptional varietal characters. pure aromatic qualities. well-structured tannins. and defined acidity. Winter rainfall provided a promising start for vine growth. but above-average rainfall later in 2022 caused concerns during berry set in some regions. The cool ripening months allowed for gradual flavor accumulation and preservation of natural acidity in white varieties.
Maturation: Bottled early to retain the fresh varietal characters.
Tasting Notes: Pale straw or light greenish-yellow colour, The aroma is an intense bouquet of citrus fruits, led by fresh lime and lemon zest. The palate is an excellent balance between vibrant acidity and natural sweetness with pronounced flavours of juicy lime. lemon. and even a touch of grapefruit. This bright and zippy profile gives the wine a refreshing finish and great length.
