Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
Region: Añelo district of the Neuquen province, Patagonia, Argentina. Cold region which makes it a great place to grow Pinot Noir.
Altitude: 400 meters above sea level.
Vinification: Gentle de-stemming, cold maceration for 2 days at 10° C. Whole berry fermentation with natural yeasts and max. temp. 22° C. Extensive punching down for first 7 days of fermentation. Total fermentation time of 12 days.
Aging: 12 months in French oak, 20% new. 100% malo-lactic fermentation in oak.
Tasting Notes: Bright red color. Ripe notes of red cherries with good intensity and some spicy notes, a light but powerful palate with good acidity and more concentration. Beautifully medium-bodied and satin smooth.
