OUR PHILOSOPHY
We are OLD VINES and without irrigation, since we make a sincere effort to rescue the patrimonial varieties from the southern Chile, a living treasure of our viniculture, such as País, Semillon, Carignan and Cinsault varieties. We are MAULE because the entire lifecycle of our wines takes place on our vineyards in the interior dry land of the Maule Valley. We are TERROIR, because we want our wines to highlight their origins. We believe that barrel-aging adds complexity, but do not consider it to be the most important factor. We are SUSTAINABLE, as we believe the vineyards must live together in harmony with the surrounding environment.
VINEYARDS
Our vineyards are placed over antique granite soils, which contribute minerality and depth to our wines.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our organic vineyard in Mingre state reflect our concern about working in harmony with the nature.
WINERY
Our winery is a simple and noble construction of adobe walls and clay floor, dating from the early twentieth century. Depending on the characteristics and styles of our Chilean wines, the guard is made in French oak barrels of 225 lts., French oak fudres of 2,500 lts. and amphorae of clay of 700 lts.
In addition, we own antique 18.500-litre cement tanks, which allow us to vinify separately our best red grapes. For working separately, our stainless-steel tanks have a capacity from 1,200 lts.
