Viticulture: Clones: Merlot – clone 118 (planted in 1986), unknown (planted in 1999), Cabernet Sauvignon – unknown (planted in 1986, one of the oldest blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon in the Valley) Viticulture: Geneva Double Curtain (GDC), Vertical Shoot Position (VSP).
Winemaking: De-stemmed and crushed Cold soaked for 3 days Fermentation kept between 25 °C and 28 °C, 12 months in barrels, 75% French, 25% American; 20% new oak.
Tasting Notes: Rich and generous with lifted current and Raspberry fruit. Accents of Cedar and dried cocoa with lingering notes of herb and graphite.
