Grape: 100% Pinot Noir
Wine region: Okanagan Falls, British Columbia, Canada
Winery: Noble Ridge is an estate vineyard and winery located in the Okanagan Valley. All work is done by hand, on- site by a team of dedicated workers who strive to create exceptional wine that reflects its noble namesake.
Viticulture: Grown using the Geneva Double Curtain trellis system, our Reserve Pinot Noir is a beautiful representation of the diversity of our land. We are one of the only wineries in the valley to utilize the GDC system for Pinot Noir. The unique style, depth and complexity truly shine in this stunning vintage. Sourced from blocks 11,12 and 13 on the north facing slope of the Noble Ridge Vineyard. Trellised on Geneva Double Curtain (GDC).
Winemaking: Hand-picked and sorted on October 11, 2017. De-stemmed and cold soaked for 5 days before a cool ferment kept between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius. Aged in French Oak for 14 months with 20% new barrels.
Tasting Notes: Deeply complex and bold with intense blue and black fruits with subtle floral undertones. These notes are followed through on the palate with well integrated tannins creating a long lingering finish.
Food Pairing: Classic pairings include duck, grilled salmon, and mushrooms. Also, try with your favourite BBQ and game meats.
